10 Good use Of Vinegar around the Home





For quite sometime now I have been hearing and reading about the wonderful use of vinegar. I have to admit I never cared to try it because I dreaded the smell more than anything. My thought was how could something so smelly be of any good. Boy was i wrong, and wish I would of dived in the vinegar household use sooner.

The first time I used vinegar was to clean my hardwood floors. I was a little nervous that my house would stink, but I went went a long with it anyways. I opened a few windows filled a bucket with warm water and pour a bit of white distilled vinegar. All I have to say is that after cleaning my floor and seeing how shiny and clean it looked I've never looked back and at least 2x a month i vinegar clean all my hardwood floors in my home. Oh and about the smell, after a hour or so it's completely gone!

I now use vinegar for various household use, here's a list my top 10 vinegar usage.

1. Clean hardwood floors: Easy and cheap floor cleaning alternative. Mix 1/2 cup of white vinegar to 1 gallon of warm water. leaves your floor shiny and clean.

2. Laundry Rinse CycleBelieve it or not this will do wonders for your clothes because It gets rid of odors, softens fabrics, and helps to get rid of static.

3. To Clean Windows and MirrorsMix Vinegar with water in a empty spray bottle. Grab a Newspaper or paper towel and watch how shiny and clear they'll look.

4.  To remove stickers or wallpaperRemoves un wanted stickers & wallpaper from walls and furniture. Let the vinegar sit for about 7 minutes, then remove.

5. Carpet spillsUse a sponge or cloth to remove as much liquid as possible. Then with a empty spray bottle add vinegar and water spray on the area, let it stand and remove.

6. Deodorize garbage disposal: Freeze vinegar in molded ice-cube tray, run several cubes down the disposal while flushing with cold water.

8. Coffee Maker CleanerFill the water reservoir half way and run the coffee maker as you normally do and then run it once full of water and the coffee maker will be spotless

9. Clean chrome and stainless steelApply a light misting of undiluted white vinegar from a recycled spray bottle. Buff with a soft cloth to bring out the brightness.

10. Deodorize lunch boxes, footlockers, and car trunks soak a slice of white bread in white vinegar and leave it in the malodorous space overnight. The smell should be gone by morning.
